ADAVB Patient Helpline

For over 35 years, the ADAVB has operated a free Helpline for patients to speak with a team of senior expert dentists (Community Relations Officers). Members of the public are encouraged to call and discuss any issues or questions that they may have about dentistry or dental treatment including:

  • Dental conditions and diseases
  • Fees for dental services
  • Treatment and treatment options
  • Dental advances and techniques
  • Access to dental records and other privacy issues
  • Special dental services e.g. home care, disabled access, etc.
  • Services offered by dentists and dental specialists
  • The difference between dentists and other dental care providers.

At least one Community Relations Officer is on duty every day to answer enquiries. Please note that the ADAVB does not have clinical facilities to examine patients.

The ADAVB welcomes calls from members of the public as part of its commitment to the oral health of all Victorians and Tasmanians.
