The Branch retains the services of senior Members to act as Community Relations Officer / Professional Consultant (CRO/PC), on a part-time basis. Their major responsibility is to provide an avenue for the public and the membership when complaints and disputes arise. Conciliation and advice are available on an impartial basis, often avoiding litigious confrontations.
The CRO/PCs act as a liaison with the ADAVB Defence Committee, where appropriate, and with the Health Services Commissioner, when the Branch's assistance is requested or required by members.
As professional consultants, they are available to discuss and advise on any aspect of enquiries relating to professional life that may be more difficult than general enquiries allocated to the lay members of the Branch Office.
In order to obtain the assistance of one of the CRO/PCs, ring the Branch Office on (03) 9826-8318.
