One of the Branch's most important activities is specified in the first object of the Branch Constitution: "to encourage the improvement of the dental health of the community".

 

The ADAVB Dental Health Education Committee is charged with this responsibility and is therefore involved in a variety of oral health promotion activities addressed to schools, kindergartens and other organisations.

 

In 2007, Dental Health Week (scheduled for the first week of August) will focus on the oral health of 18-25 year olds.  Details regarding issues affecting this group, and means by which to address them, will be provided over the coming months.
