Information on industrial matters is regularly published in the ADA Federal publications and the Branch Newsletter. Phone advice is available on wage rates and industrial problems (e.g. workers' compensation, equal opportunity, occupational health and safety) through the ADA HR Advisory Service.
Operated by Wentworth HR, the service provides free for members:-
- a dedicated phone “HR Hotline” service for all ADA members to discuss issues and ask advice on a range of HR and IR matters;
- your own Industrial Officers who are technically qualified as well as being fully aware of the issues that affect small business on a daily basis;
- a comprehensive manual written exclusively for ADA members which provides practical and up to the minute information and advice on a range of industrial issues specifically relevant to the dental profession;
- website link dedicated to HR and IR information relevant to the Industry;
- loose-leaf updates and information sheets ensuring continuing accuracy and quality of industrial information provided to members; and
- regular articles in ADA Federal and Branch Newsletters and Magazines.
Wentworth HR’s staff all have experience in the provision of industrial advice and Member services within Associations and have been providing this service to NSW Branch Members since 2000.
