The Melbourne Dental School and ADAVB have a long histroy of working together to bring the best CPD programs to Victorian practitioners and the courses continue to attract interstate participation.
The Melbourne Dental School has several exciting new courses for 2010. The format of this program allows lectures to be streamed to you with on-line references and supportive teaching material. The on-line teaching material will use state-of-the-art facilities at the University of Melbourne to provide and Oral Medicine course over a series of modules.
The CPD Program at the Melbourne Dental School has enlisted a diversity of speakers and is offering a new ceramic course, and expanded resin composite course and a new laboratory / clinician interaction course. Further highlights to the 2009 program are two new periodontal courses focussing on periodontal surgery and implant maintenance. The joint ADAVB / MDS commitee has formulated two larger courses on cracked and split teeth and lasers in dentistry. Both of these courses will have significant hands-on components with a wide range of experienced speakers. This year's CPD program is designed to appeal to everyone's needs and interests and ADAVB members will benefit tremendously from these courses.
