Health Reform Briefing

The Rudd Labor Government has embarked on a complex health reform agenda with multiple initiatives being introduced in parallel.

The extent of these changes can prove daunting to health professionals who are busy in their practising lives, and so the attached briefing paper seeks to summarise the major agencies and reform initiatives currently being advanced (as at September 2009) .

The notes accompanying the chart in the briefing paper include links to relevant websites at which further details can be found.

The ADAVB does not claim to have captured every health reform being promoted by the Government, but the major ones affecting dentistry are included in this paper - see below or download the pdf here.
