CPD & Training General Information

The ADAVB CPD program aims to assist dental practitioners maintain and improve the quality of care they provide to patients, and to promote healthy and safe oral health care to the community of the highest standard.

The fundamental aim of CPD is to involve dental practitioners in educational activities that enhance and demonstrate professional competence, and the program focuses on the professional development needs of all dental practitioners. The learning outcomes built into the activities in the program includes the assessment of:

1. Knowledge level and acquisition.
2. Skills level and acquisition.
3. Attitude for professional conduct.
4. Clinical judgement, organisation and communication.

The ADAVB’s CPD Committee assesses and evaluates the activities developed for the program and is led by the Chair, Dr Ben Keith, ADAVB Councillor.
