ADAVB has recently developed a new function to assist members, called Practice+ .
To provide more support to ADAVB member dentists it is important that we connect more directly with staff within a dental practice, and provide them with the knowledge and skills to be a valued employee whilst increasing job satisfaction.
ADAVB Practice+ has now launched the PracAdmin Network. Any Practice Manager, Practice Administrator, Dental Assistant or Receptionist working with and nominated by an ADAVB member will be eligible to join the PracAdmin Network.
ADAVB regrets that staff who are not working with ADAVB member are not eligible to join the PracAdmin Network as this is a service to ADAVB members.
What are the advantages of participating in the PracAdmin Network?

How do I sign up to participate in the PracAdmin Network?

To participate in the PracAdmin Network you need to be nominated by your employer, who must be an ADA Member, working with you at the same practice location.
The PracAdmin Network subscription involves an annual fee, payable in September each year. For PracAdmin Network applications received prior to September 2011, participants will receive the month of August free. Your subscription is valid for your current practice location only. Should you leave the practice your subscription becomes invalid; unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds. For those wishing to join after December 2011 the first annual payment will be calculated pro-rata (quarterly).
Are there any obligations?
PracAdmin Network material must not be used outside the practice location specified in your application and must not be reproduced except for use at that practice location. ADAVB Inc. may issue other PracAdmin Network rules from time to time.
e-Newsletters and Network Meetings
Each quarter an e-Newsletter will be published with the latest news and events, tips and information and industry updates. The first introductory e-Newsletter will be available in August 2011 and then quarterly; September, December, March and June. These will be emailed and available through your specific login and password to the PracAdmin Network webpage.
Half day Network Meetings will be held quarterly in geographical locations throughout Victoria. For some rural locations that are further from a major centre these may be full day events two or three times a year. Networking meetings will usually be held from 1pm-4pm on a week day. There will be a training session followed by networking and a small break then a workshop or interactive session. There will be opportunity for participants to discuss common practice needs and to provide some feedback on recent Practice+ developments. In most cases Network Meetings are free to participants; this will be advised well in advance of the event. In the event full day sessions are held, a small catering cost may be required for lunch; this will be advised well in advance of the event.
